Is there a good reason that we could not use the flywheel as out trigger
wheel? Being larger it would allow a finer tuning. The inspection port is a
great spot for the pickup too.

Has anyone done this?

It seems this mod has been done frequently in the Mini world - with great
success.

If anyone out there has any feedback or suggestions for a similar Pantera
solution, I am on vacation for the next 2 weeks and could use the added
reading material.

Cheers,
EA

Just curious ... does anyone make a crank fire/trigger ignition
system for the Pantera?

Sort of; fortunately, the 351-C takes the identical distributor to the 351W
(with a gear change) and the 429/460/514 big blocks (without a gear change).
Adapting their crank triggers probably won't be much more than figuring out
how to fasten the flying-magnet disc to the harmonic balancer and bracing
the pickup adequately. If you try this, be sure to keep notes of how things
went, and take photos. Thanks- J Deryke
