[DeTomaso] Tires and wheels

Jack, a while ago you wrote up something about a wheel upgrade really
costing over $10,000.  It was along the lines of -- if you upgrade A
then you need to upgrade B.  If you upgrade B then need to upgrade C,
etc.  It was classic, but I cannot find it.

Thinking ahead, if you mount up giant wheels and tires, the stock brakes
are 
gonna look skimpy. And some "big brake" kits won't fit 16" wheels, no
matter 
how nice they may look- or work. 
Second thought- giant tires will require some sort of chassis
stiffening. 
Experience has shown that excess traction in monococque designs such as
the 
Pantera will crack the paint, and eventually, the body metal. All the
vendors offer 
their own version of chassis stiffener systems, some weld-in, some
bolt-in. 
None have been shown to be superior as far as I know- they all work.
