[DeTomaso] GOOD YEAR DRAG RADIALS / Dick Ruzzin

I contacted Nitto a while back about their NT555R and NT01 which comes in Pantera sizes, but they said no road or road course track use. I don't know if that was just said for liability reasons or whether that was a real problem.

It's too bad.  They are good looking, reasonably-prices tires.

Word from Eric Peterson, Tire Tech guy for NORC and SSCC is NO.  He  
will -not- pass any tire that is a Drag Radial or has Drag listed  
anywhere in primary name.  I tried passing some Nitto Drag radials by  
him last year (in email) and they did not pass.  Glad I didn't buy  
them first.
