Mike,

The advantages are a matter of perspective. If you prefer superior
flow rate AND micron filtration, the option of a bypass or no bypass valve,
peripheral magnets to catch metallic particles, the ability to take it apart
and see what is going on inside your engine, and (admittedly negligible)
heat dissipation, then there is something special. From my perspective, why
build a 7K plus motor and then protect it with an $8 filter?

It certainly is a thing of beauty, and no doubt exceptionally well-made.
But is there any real need for something like this? $200 buys a LOT of
cheap filters, and even buys a lot of very high-quality Ford FL-1HP heavy
duty
racing filters. Realistically (not theoretically), what actual advantage
does this $200 wonder really offer?

Mike
