[DeTomaso] Oh happy days- AKA watch your backsides

After working on the car all day yesterday I took #3535 for a cruise around 
the block.  So, I'm sitting at a stop light and this 72 year old druggie 
slams into the back of the Pantera.  I'm pissed.  Really pissed.  This 
#$%%^* chewed up five Valiums before hopping in her car to get her grandkid. 
She got me instead.  Fortunately the cops took her away in the back of a 
patrol car.  Found out today from her insurance company she's lost her 
license before and is in "rehab".  Guess rehab doesn't work too well, huh ?

Are there potential damage areas to look for when my car gets to a body 
shop?  The obvious damage is:
the right "bumper" was turned into a pretzel,
the rear panel is pushed in,
the rear valence is pushed in,
and right muffler and tailpipe smooshed up into valence.

Amazingly the right tail lamp lens survived (I think).   The rear deck is 
okay.  I was able to drive it home.  The car is bone-stock and without rust 
issues.

Long story short, what I'd really like to say to all on this list is have a 
blessed Christmas but watch your backsides when in your beloved cars.
