Will, I ran the 48 IDA's choked down to 42's on a small block chevy in my old McLaren. I hate those linkages...I spent more time on those than anything else on the car. Hope yours are better than mine were. The biggest hassle was setting the linkage set at idle so they were all pulling evenly. Don't know why, but they would change often and were a moving target it seemed every other time I drove the car. I wouldn't be too surprised if you have issues at idle, but once the throttles open, hang on, they were great. You may want to consider buying the Weber drill kit (30-40 different drill sizes varying by a few thousandths) to help with tuning the jets. I found it easiest to go a size or two small on the jet size and then drill it one step at a time bigger until you hit the right color on the plugs. It would be great to do the testing on a dyno with a sniffer in the tail pipe to see where the mixture is when doing adjustments.

I'll have to go back and see if I can find the cam specs...I don't recall picking cam specs due to the Webers. But since the car only weighed 1350 pounds, you didn't notice too many problems...it would just go like a scolded ape. Please list your internal parts...it would be interesting to see. Can't wait to hear more on your progress. Good luck!

Tom
