Back in 1973, a Pantera owner, we’ll call him Dave, replaced a small
part on his ’71 ride with an inexpensive non-OEM part. His Pantera
buddies were shocked that he tainted his vehicle with a non-standard
part not commonly accepted by his peers. Days later, another Pantera
owner performed the same process and it soon became an accepted
practice.

In 1974, Dave purchased a new set of tires with a different profile.
His Pantera buddies were shocked that he tainted his vehicle with
non-standard tires not commonly accepted by his peers. Months later,
another Pantera owner performed the same process and it became an
accepted practice.

In 1975, Dave decided he wanted to change the color of his car. His
Pantera buddies were shocked that he painted his vehicle with a
non-OEM color not commonly accepted by his peers. Months later,
another Pantera owner painted his car a non-OEM color and it soon
became an accepted practice.

In [enter year], [enter Pantera owner name] decided to upgrade the
[enter Pantera characteristic] on his car. His Pantera buddies were
shocked that he upgraded his vehicle with a [enter Pantera
characteristic] not commonly accepted by his peers. This process
continued until one day another Pantera owner performed the same
process and it soon became an accepted practice.

To this day, I’ve never seen two Panteras that were the same. That’s
part of the fun of owning one
you can be different. Individual tastes
should be encouraged and above all, respected.
