Search the De Tomaso registry by color, and check out all the green cars in there.   All the ones that haven't been repainted other colors (most were) retain the black rockers, and the effect is just as good as it is on the other colors.



Try taping off your rockers with matte black tape, then step back and see how it looks.   Chances are you'll see an improvement.   If not, you haven't lost anything.
