All,
I believe that greaseable U-joints in the half shafts, as in front engine/rear drive drive shafts, for greatest strength, MUST be installed such that as torque is applied, you are compressing the grease zerk hole vs. pulling it apart.
Sometimes you need to stare at things a while and think about it, so that you get the zerk in there so that it can still be lubed, but it's usually doable!
This does not apply to full throttle clutch sidesteps while in reverse.... :)
