[DeTomaso] Half Shaft Safety Hoop

Mike...that's a great thought...I've seen some of those from the vendors and just dismissed them as window dressing...they'd have to be quite think to contain a half shaft. I will check with the vendors. Worse case my fabricator can build something similar with more beef. Thanks Mike.

The vendors sell stainless steel driveshaft covers, whose function is to both provide some bling, and also to keep the U-joints from spooging grease all over the engine bay.   Although they're not overly strong, they would probably do a halfway decent job of containing the driveshaft in the event that the inner U-joint broke.
