photos......

I just come out and say impossible.  Unless the photos show obvious  
chassis rust cancer.

Bondo, fresh undercoating and black rattle-can paint can hide all  
sorts of disasters.

I always advise any prospective buyer that if they can not get a  
Pantera up on a rack, or at least on four sturdy jack stands, and then  
spend twenty minutes with flashlight, coat hanger probe (for inner  
frame rail checking) hammer and strong ice pick or center punch (for  
pounding on structural areas), then you haven't done a good pre- 
purchase inspection.

I also like to pull the two phillips screws that attach the chrome  
striker plate for the rubber door stops; this gives you a good look at  
the inner portion of the  B-pillar.  And some time spent on your back  
inspecting the bottom drain holes of both doors is well spent.  And  
never overlook the lower radiator support and front valance.

Anyone ever buying ANY Pantera solely based on photographs is just  
rolling the dice.
