Don't have any experience with Avons, but I run 245/45X15 Dunlops on 8"
campys and I have 245/45X16 Hoosiers on 7.5" wheels on the S2000. You should
be good with the 215s on the 8" Campys. You can look at tire specs on
http://www.tirerack.com/index.jsp  Just go to the page for the specific make
and model of tire and pull up the specs. Actual dimensions of the tread
width, section width and overall diameter are probably the most important to
you.

(A 225/50X15 Hoosier is really UUUggly on a 5.5" wide Escort wheel.)

Is anyone running 215/60/15 (Avon or otherwise) on the front of their
Pantera.
Anyone have pictures?  Glen is getting ready to buy the 215/60/15 and
295/50/15
combo for his 8 and 10 Campys.  215 mm is approximately 8.5".  Does
the 215 look
okay on the 8" wide rim?
