Hello Chuck,

Thanks for the kind words. You are absolutely right - my car will remain
stock. 

When I became a Pantera owner, I had just completed restoring a car to
original condition and for that reason my search for a Pantera was narrowed
to an original car.

Now having meet with all this nice and knowledgeable Pantera collegues,
having seen and experienced there cars - and having seen the potential in
our cars when being improved - I realize that if I today would have been a
Pantera buyer I would most likely have gone for a (tastely) modified car.

People should know that your car is an incredibly stock example!

extension are about the only non-original items, at least at the time you
bought her.

So as much as I support people doing about anything with their car,
"someone" needs
to keep their car original (and driven occasionally!), as an example of what
we all
started with.

It might also be cheaper in the long run to buy the fully modified car you
might now
desire.

BTW: I hope you took some photos to share of the Tech Session?

I am just back from a two week family vacation in Southern California. While
in the San Diego area I was invited to the tech session on the 8th in Ron´s
garage.

It was a great meeting, a magnificent garage ( the size of a mid size family
house ), a lot of impressive Panteras ranging from stock to modified and of
course a lot of very nice and knowledgeable Pantera colleagues. 

Klaus offered me an exciting ride to the meeting in his gorgeous 600 hp
Pantera, an experience which makes me seriously reconsidering keeping my own
Pantera stock....

The concept of tech meetings is a very good concept, to meet, to work on the
cars, discuss tech issues etc. I got some valuable input on some issues with
my car.

Thanks to the San Diego Panteras for the invitation to a super meeting!

PS  Including a trip to Mexico to prepare for the La Carrera this fall. I
managed to fill the 2 weeks with 4 days of "car" content without upsetting
the family too much. Not too bad..
