Glen,
I've cc'd Mike McDougal on this. He has 8's and 10's on his Pantera.
Mike, are you running 295/50/15's on your rear rims? What size fronts?
I'm running they same front width (245mm) but a smaller overall diameter
due to a lower aspect ratio. I'm not sure how the taller 60's will look on
a Pantera. I ran the numbers and the overall diameter should be the same
for those sizes.
I'll also forward this to the Pantera list and see if anyone runs a 245/60/15.
Dan
I'm about ready to do the Avon option. This is a link to a company that sells
them. The're targeting the cobra owners.
The sizes available are listed. The ones that look like what I need are: front
245/60r15, ~$330 and rear 295/50r15, ~$400. That gives for both a 26.7"
diameter and tread width for the front of 8.7" and rear 9.9".Does this sound
right? I think youre running 60's on the front and 50's on the rear. I've
asked them for a photo of the tread pattern and about their suitability for the
street. The cobra forumguys say they're great and there's no comparison with
Avids. What do you think?
