[DeTomaso] new carburetor starting problem, need help

Clay,
Is your throttle linkage or cable too tight?  Maybe something is different 
with the new carb/spacer,  which may be keeping the throttle plates partial 
open?  Does it appear that the plates are closing completely?  You may need 
to adjust your throttle cable.
