Even 'engineered' such as on some Porsches, the threads can shear out of 
aluminum nuts, releasing the wheel if- for instance, Plan A doesn't work and 
you run off the road somewhere. Major body damage usually follows. I love 
lightness but I won't run these things- just too dangerous on the street. YMMV-
