I've recently driven a Pantera with both the std and heavy-duty
Centerforces. The std one is fine for the street and has an easy pedal. For racing, the
heavy duty seems to work but you will NOT like driving the car on the
street much. Its reminiscent of an early car with a too-stiff stock clutch and
without the over-center linkage- your leg will soon tell you to skip the next
shift. And thats without the added load of a long-throw clutch slave which
all Panteras desperately need to prolong the life of the ZF. If you have a
dedicated track car, I can understand using a big clutch but limiting your
pleasure driving due to a too-heavy clutch pedal seems a shame for any Pantera.
My 2¢- J DeRyke
