Today the check arrived from Hagerty to cover the damage to my car done by the mechanic.  Apparently the appraiser disagreed a bit with the body shop, as the check was for about $3,900.00 not the $4,700.00 the body shop quoted.  I'll be adding $500 more for work I figured I should have done while they had the thing all stripped and prepped for paint.

I'm supposed to get the car back tomorrow.  I know, I know--you've got a bridge to sell me...
