Listers,

I'm replacing my valve cover gaskets. These old cork ones lasted more than 12 years.

I've got those extra tall (1/4") Felpro cork/rubber/steel bonded things, that some people
need use to make their

valve train clear the baffles. But I don't need them. "make offer".

I've just picked up some Felpro rubber ones instead.

What do people suggest as a tacking agent? In the past I used a little "Indian Head" to
tack the gaskets

in place.

BTW: I've seen the gaskets tacked to the cover, and also to the head. I forget which is
better and why.

These old ones were stuck to the head, which dam'ed the oil a bit, and saved me from
further clean-up.

Chuck
