Have you investigated other keepers that would fit both the valve stem
and the retainers?

The valve manufacturer (Ferrea) supplies keepers that fit smaller retainer holes than what I have in my retainers. Aparently the holes in my retainers have the same size as retainers found on big block engines. The keepers that fit my retainers don't fit the stems of my valves as they are a larger ID. I can not find aftermarket retainers that fit the available keepers AND give me the correct installed height. I have talked to Ferrea tech support and they dismissed my complaints with "you can find fitting retainers from any aftermarket supplier". Mail was left unanswered.

What single groove keepers will allow me to keep the stock spring retainers when switching to new valves? I can find new keepers match the angle but not ones that match the old keeper OD. I've been unable to find aftermarket retainers that dimensionally replicate the stock ones for correct installed valve spring height.
