True- and its happened to Pantera owners, especially if the keepers are 
multi-groove ones that do NOT clamp the valve stems tightly. But changing to 
stronger forged single-groove keepers also requires changing the valves 
themselves to match. If you do that, and the requisite valve job, it's easy to 
change to all-teflon stem seals. Maybe next engine.... Good luck- J Dertyke
