[DeTomaso] Rear Brake rattle

I've been rebuilding my brakes with new seals. I finished up my rears yesterday and went for a drive. My right rear brakes are rattling in the clips causing a very loud noise I can hear from the driver seat. I think i cleaned too much old grease and gunk off of the brake pins and now there is too much play in the holes on top of each pad. There seems to be one spot as the rear disk comes around the brake pads get tight and lift up then drop on the pins causing the rattling noise. I think even if my disk was perfectly flat (probably needs to be turned) I would still get this rattling going on. I didn't notice this at all before I decided to take them apart. Any ideas on how to stop the pads from moving up and down and causing the noise?
