[DeTomaso] Well, new problem, cant get it into gear, clutch problem.

Well this is a new problem, one I have never had before.

I can not get put the car into gear with the motor running. The clutch pedal feels normal, the slave is moving, it looks like the clutch plate is disengaging but I can not get it in to gear to drive. When I engage the clutch and try to move the stick shift it just won't engage and I can hear and feel the gears grinding if I push much.


*351 Cleveland
*Stainless long throw slave
*Stock master, new 6 years ago, was working just fine 6 months ago on the 5.0 motor
*Centerforce clutch and flywheel, 6 years old, about 8500 miles of use, working fine on the 5.0 motor.
*New throw-out bearing
*New pilot bearing
*Linkage, adjusted, tight and stick shift centered in gate.
