[DeTomaso] Where to buy a single Keith Black KB148 piston

I think my engine meet those criteria, except for a well-dialed in igniton timing, which probably is the cause of all this trouble. (but this is my fault, not the PO)

We have 99 octan RON in every shell gas station which is equivalent to 94-95 US octane.

But I cant find any dished piston. And since I have aussie 2v heads I guess I need some dished pistons to keep compression below 10,5:1

10-1/2:1 is about the maximum you can run, if you have:
* a performance cam (longer duration cams tend to reduce compression pressures and knock)
* 92-or-above octane fuel or a good octane booster
* a well-dialed in igniton timing setting with no more than 36 degrees total advance.
JR Pistons in Southern CA will sell you any piston you can dream up, and Randy Gillis who works there is a long-time Pantera owner. Try <www.jrpistons. com> or call (714) 898-9763, Pacific Coast time zone and ask for Randy, or a Tech Advisor. Good luck- J DeRyke.
