Half of our intrepid team are already on the road to TEXAS.  Tom Di Iulio on his way from Colorado and Jack Houpe coming in
from Arkansas.  Actually Jack could be at speed on the practice section as I write this.  This is his 1st time and he is doing his rookie class and qualifying in his GT-40.  John Taphorn will leave Houston this afternoon and stop over in San Antonio tonight for a taste of the weeklong Fiesta going on now.  We'll all rendezvous in Sanderson tomorrow afternoon.  We are short one car so we actually aren't a "team" yet but I hope I can find someone out there willing and able to join.  We should do well as always.  I think my car will start and run so all the big hurdles have been passed.  We tech in and ahng out for a party Thursday afternoon.  Friday is full of safety meetings, car shows, parades and more parties.  The **** hits the fan early Saturday morning.  We pick up all the trophies that evening.  The weather looks great and we're ready...I think.  We'll miss all the old regulars who couldn't make it this time.  Wish more of you could have taken part in this.  Maybe next time.
