 Ignore my post about overpressurizing the ZF-- I forgot it has an overflow / pressure release tube. Most gearboxes don't have that.

Jim,

I don't believe you can (easily) blow the ZF seals with a reasonable amount
of extra oil.  

1) there is a vent (on the Pantera on the top) that would release any excess
oil that made it that far.

2) The ZF funs "right side up" in the Mangusta, and the oil fill/check 
hole is not in the middle of the case, so on the Goose it is actually
higher, meaning more oil in the case before is spills out the level
indicator hole, compared to the Pantera orientation.
