[DeTomaso] Vacuum Leak

A coupe of things you might look at is the rubber hose from the engine to 
the underbody steel line. Broken motormount bolts might have let the 
powertrain shift enough under panic-braking to separate the line at either the 
engine or the underbody connection. Those rubber lines are constantly oil-soaked 
and tend to get brittle & crack on their invisible undersides.
Another is whether the throttle cable popped out of it's holder on the 
cylinder head, increasing the idle. Fixing the fast-idle only means 
retightening/replacing the vacuum hose or the throttle cable end into its holder, but if 
it happened 'cause the motormounts are loose, that's a secondary thing....
