[DeTomaso] Hearing on California smog testing

The Ford-years Pantera will be OK -- HOWEVER

- The later Pantera would be affected

- Many Pantera owners also have other older cars in the affected years

- "Give them an inch and they will take a mile" seems to be the SOP for
Sacramento.  If this passes, the next one will be even worse.  For
example, the legislation to outlaw black cars is coming up.

Pre-1976 motor vehicles 
would remain exempt under A.B. 859. 

 

So, our beloved Cats are not going to be required to be smogged as is
now the case if this bill passes?
