[DeTomaso] Flexilite radiator fans

Has anybody had any trouble with Flexilite fan motors burning  out? 
 
Both mine have died. When the first one went out, I replaced the motor,  
which is not much fun since I had to remove the radiator to get the  fan shroud 
off. Now 2 weeks later, the other one has gone out. The  fans don't go on very 
often, they are separately wired with  relays, and I had less than 3000 miles 
on them since I put them on a new  Fluidyne radiator. 
 
Suggestions?
