[DeTomaso] Why 2 different styles of front L type bumpers?-I think I aswered my own question

Ok, I think that I may have answered my own question. 
 
Tonight was opening night for Crusin Grand, and about 8 Pantera's were present for the show. I noticed that one Cat present had an L front type bumper that was flush with the top of the fender on the left side of the car, but was not flush with the fender on the right side of the car.
 
I am thinking that there is a little "fudge room" to adjust these bumpers when they are mounted to the car.
