No, the right (passenger) side of the engine is 1-2-3-4, front to back, 
and the left (driver) side is 5-6-7-8, front to back.

Incorrect, the Ford distributors rotate CCW.

No, that is for non-HO 302:s (and smaller) and big blocks. The 5.0:s, 
351W, 351C, and the newer modular motors have 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8.
