Although the Spicer units are great, today they are also quite unnecessary 
IMHO.   They only came about because factory U-joints used to be $125 each, and 
it was actually cheaper to buy all new driveshafts.   But with the price of 
quality factory U-joints now back down to earth, there is no reason not to use 
stock driveshafts, especially when you can send yours in on an exchange basis.
