[DeTomaso] Calif Title Question

Ca must be really special in the DMV area.  I can't imagine a Georgia DMV employee getting up off their ass much less knowing the locations of VIN numbers on a DeTomaso. I had explain that WAS the maker when I registered mine.  Michael in Savannah

Vin Location - Probably been covered a hundred times here... Fellow wants to buy my 72 P car. Was built 72/1. Plate in the door jam is good, dash plate is there, but there is no vin on the brake clutch box. Car has been titled and licensed in Oregon and Washington its whole life. Will it be an issue in Calif? No .. the car is not hot.. Not sure why a vin is on on the panel. Have not looked at the 
Headlight buckets.
