Well, it was a nice day except for Scott failing tire tech.  He wasn't  
the only one though.  A newer Vette also failed for having wear down  
to the wear bars.  Helloooooo.  I got to meet a bunch more poeple.  A  
group of three Yellow Corvette's drove down from Washington state, ran  
the rookie school and then drove up here to do the race on Sunday.  A  
good group of guys.

After tech, The Dog returned to his hotel room and has not been seen  
since.  I called him and he doesn't sound too good, so everybody pray  
he'll recover tomorrow and be ready for the race on Sunday.

I understand Dan got his wheels and tires, so I'm trying to be on the  
lookout for him.  We could use another Pantera here.  We get asked a  
LOT, "where are all the Panteras?"  It's embarassaing, but the Dog is  
still here and everybody recognizes him -and- his car, so TPR is still  
well represented.  As long as Dan passes tech tomorrow, it'll be great  
to have another one running, all bullshit aside.

Tomorrow is the mandatory car show in the park.  I should get a lot  
more photos by then.

I tried for half an hour to get hooked up in my room to the wireless,  
but it ain't happening.  Something wrong in my wireless configuration  
I'm sure.  I might try again later.
