  FWIW, Dan, Jr Wilson tried gumball race tires (I think they were brand new NASCAR tires) on his otherwise almost-stock-chassis Silver State Pantera one time, and found they made the car 'snakey-handing' at very high speeds, so he took them off before officially running. Such tires might take different alignment settings and Ely is not the place to experiment IMHO. Good luck- J Deryke
