[DeTomaso] Air-Gap

Brent,

FWIW, you have an Edelbrock Performer manifold, not a Performer RPM Air Gap. They are different; the Air Gap is a taller manifold with longer runners and an "air gap" under the runners. I think the Edelbrock website has technical specs, including dimensions, for the manifold. Should be easy for folks to see how much higher it is than the standard Performer.  I'd look it up for you all, but I'm swamped at work at the moment.

Cheers!
Garth

Why would we want to hide that under a screen!?!  If your spending the money, show it off!!   I'm particularly pleased with how the previous owner of my Pantera did this mod:

I was thinking of using a Performer RPM air gap intake manifold on my engine build, but
Dan Jones (all around 351C engine guru) informed me that it would NOT fit under the
engine screen.
