If it wasn't for the 100 mph limit, I would ask you to throw it in the eye of the hurricane and share the results.

Has anyone tried it yet?

I have the app installed in my iPhone. I haven't used it yet as I have been
involved in the hurricane relief in southern Mississippi. They have a second
version which downloads for free if you purchased the first one. They also
have calibration for the accelerometers in the phone included. Results can
be displayed in metric or conventional. Basic set-up requires the weight of
the car and a few other incidentals such as "drive train loss."
Now all I need is a operational Pantera as my engine is currently out of the
car...
It looks good superficially. My only complaint is the max speed of 100 mph
which may not be too big an issue if you are going the 0-60' distance... LOL
