Hmmmm- our oil temp WITH the bypass thermostat in place show oil temperatures
coming up to 160-170 degrees after about 10-15 minutes of legal highway
driving. Pretty slow, in other words. I've not driven in snow with any Pantera but
I suspect around town in winter, oil temp would never get much above 140
degrees. That to me is over-cool; condensation won't leave the pan until around
180-190. I never regarded an oil heat exchanger as an oil HEATER; there are
diesel heaters that attach to the oil pan and would likely work much better than
this Laminova. FWIW- J DeRyke
