The oil lines use some Ford specific quick connect fittings. Make sure
you get the oil hoses with it. He can cut off the hoses and have new
hoses made using the specific fittings.

Example of the hoses and fittings:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-04-Ford-Crown-Victoria-Police-Oil-Cooler-Lines-Hoses_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a552Q7c39Q3a1Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c240Q3a1318QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem370081828156QQitemZ370081828156

The water in/out is 38 mm as I said. I used 38 mm hoses and clamped them
tight against the 35 mm cooling lines. Worked OK, but perhaps he can
find some specific reducer hoses with 35 mm in one end and 38 in the other?
