[DeTomaso] Seattle Italian Concours d'Elegance Photos

We had an excellent Italian Concours here in the Northwest yesterday.  About
175 cars in all, with 5 Panteras.  The lime green pushbutton, chassis 1294
belonging to PNW member Alvin Bloomberg, has run Bonneville 5 times, and
currently holds the D/GT record at just under 210 mph.  First place in
DeTomaso was taken by Mike Reilly in his beautiful red '74 #7366, one of the
last 10 cars to be brought in by Ford, and still very close to original
appearance.  Second in DeTomaso went to yours truly, Mike Thomas, and third
in Detomaso to Alvin in his green pushbutton.  Alvin also won second in the
Competition Class to a Ferrari 308 which just last week ran 298+ MPH.  They
would have hit 310, but 200 yards before the final traps, the 2500 hp
massively boosted Ferrari motor blew the bottom end all over the salt.

Most all makes were represented with Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati,
DeTomaso, Lancia, Alfa, Fiat and numerous Italian motor bikes.

It was a beautiful day with a lot of incredible cars.  Enjoy!
