[DeTomaso] efi vs Weber respondents

Webers are among the very best carbs. What differs between the Holley and
Weber set-up is  the indepandent runner vs 180-360 dgr design using a 
plenum.
In a V8 application the plenum-Holley layout is what is the strong part 
here.
But if we just look at the construction of the carb, the low speed system 
and
the emulsion system of the high speed is way better than that of a Holley.
Any carb is having a venturi "waist" and a nossle, parts sitting in the wind
desturbing flow, which is not the case with an injection system. This gives 
the
injection system an air flow advantage over a carb. The injection system can 
also
be designed as both independent runner and regular V-8 180 intake system.
