[DeTomaso] How Do I Adjust Seatback Angle?

By cutting a slot in the seatback's steel straps from the bolt hole downward, 
you can change the angle about 15 degrees, which is enough to make a 
difference in comfort. I did   this to our car in 1992. After a few years, I bored a 
couple of aluminum knobs, such that the metric allen boltheads are sunk into 
the knobs. I ran roll pins thru the boltheads and knobs to lock them together. 
Now I don't need to carry an allen wrench to adjust the seat angles. I can 
adjust Judys seat angle while she's driving, from the passenger side by simply 
reaching behind and untightening the knobs 1/2 turn. Simple, weighs almost 
nothing, costs almost nothing and looks good (most people don't even notice). When 
driving, Judy likes a more upright back while I like to slouch and thus the 
stock (but reupholstered) seats fit both of us. FWIW- J DeRyke
