[DeTomaso] POCA Photo Album Update (was:AOL FTP site going away)

We just completed the testing on the new album components on the POCA
web site.  It took a few extra days as we had a couple of good
implementations to sort through.  

Now that we have picked a winner, we have a day or so of clean up and
configuration.  We will then open the doors.

I think you will like it.  It gives people the ability to show their
pictures of their pride and joy, their chapter events, other car events,
or any other content of value to the Pantera community.  You can create
and manage you own albums just like on Flickr, Snapfish, or other
services but without the limitations or advertizing.  It is free for all
POCA members.

Well that sucks. 

I hated the site - it was bone-primitive but it did what I wanted -
allowed
me to post full-sized photos to share. 

Most of the other photo-posting services reduce the pictures. If you
make
mega-photo montaje things, that doesn't work. 

Anybody have a recommendation for a replacement?

Hi guys,

Just tried to post a photo to my FTP site to share with you.   Instead I
got

a message from AOL stating that they were shutting down their whole FTP 
operation on 31 October.   Any data there after that date will simply be
discarded.

If you have photos or a website posted on AOL (Charlie McCall and Bill
Taylor 
come to mind, but there are others I know), you need to go there and
save
all 
your data back to your computer, then find some other place to host it.

Bummer.
