[DeTomaso] FW: question for the world

Last I checked.....  an alternate puts out enough current to  
sufficiently run the electronics of an automobile.  Even without the  
Battery.

However, removing the battery from a newer car while running, might  
wreck havoc on the computer if it's expecting that load there and  
can't find it.
