[DeTomaso] Remote decklid release

Dave Nunn, one of our Canadian members, had a door-jamb mounted release
installed during his restoration at Byers.  I think he said they used a unit
out of an X-19?

I know of no off-the-rack solutions.   The original Panteras used the pull 
lever in the left B-pillar from an Alfa Romeo Spyder, connected to a long
cable 
which actuated a latch that is the same as the one used for the front trunk.

But the structure at the rear of the car is completely different to support
this apparatus.

This is really a street-rod question.   There are a billion different street

rod shops that do this sort of thing every day, and would be able to hook
you up quite easily.
