[DeTomaso] Remote decklid release

Wilkinson sells the complete set-up (or at least has pics of the parts on his website). I believe the handle is commom to a X1/9. The receiving latch is the same as the front trunk, but I think you need a spacer.

I know of no off-the-rack solutions. The original Panteras used the pull
lever in the left B-pillar from an Alfa Romeo Spyder, connected to a long cable
which actuated a latch that is the same as the one used for the front trunk.
But the structure at the rear of the car is completely different to support
this apparatus.
This is really a street-rod question. There are a billion different street
rod shops that do this sort of thing every day, and would be able to hook you
up quite easily.
