[DeTomaso] Tjaarda Pantera sold for $100,000

Am I the only one that thinks it's a little strange that the car was not wearing the "Tom Tjaarda Design" wheels that were "designed exclusively for" and sold by PI Motorsports?? The ad on their site says that Mr Tjaarda said " this is what the wheel should have looked like in the first place". If that were the case I can't understand why he wouldn't have put them on his own car?? BTW, I certainly would not put those body mods on my car even if he did offer them as aftermarket parts.
