I agree with that, providing your chassis has the right set up, right shocks, right height, right tyres with correct compound, right pressure, right weight balance, right brakes cooling and ventilation...and so on.
The weak point to me, of a race Pantera, even original factory lightweights ( and mines are probably heavier than a tube frame like Dennis ) is the lack of very powerful brakes. On F430, they run carbon or ceramic brakes, and the braking point is way later than with a Pantera.
I race both the 2862 Candy car and the 2342 Andy Warhol car with original factory GR4 disks and calipers, soft race brake pads, ( which have nothing in common with street cars ) but still, it is very weak compared to the "new era" brakes.
??? Someone has an idea to improve braking at high speed, reliably , with no cooling problems, please let me know.??? It has to match 15" wheels, don't forget. No fancy 18" wheels only brakes, it has to match FIA criteria.
My dear friend Dawg does not know anything about this type of problem ( and this is why he is so quick... ) because he never brakes :>)) Well, that's NOT a solution for me so far.
PS : GREAT video, I enjoyed every second of it. IMHO, The Pantera driver is a much better driver than the F one :>))
