[DeTomaso] DREAMCARS and VEGAS

I added an S to the end of Vega in the subject line so it looks less out of place, but it's a fine line between dream and nightmare isn't it?

The Vega didn't start as a dream. It was all I could afford at age 15. $50 if I remember correctly. The dream was to get it running. So much has fallen off or broken since then, not much is still Vega. Come to think of it, the Vega hasn't finished as a dream car either but it is still here and still runs. The warmed over small block and nitrous gives it a bit of soul.

I have seen a few V-8 Pintos over the years. At least those have a frame.

Nothing personal Peter, but I never expected to see "Dreamcars" and "Vega" used in the
same sentence......but the photos look nice! For the record, I had 2 Pintos at the same
time and drove one for 11 years......neither had a V8, but I don't own either one today
nor are they on my Dreamcar list.......(I wish there was one of those smiley face type
symbols for a guy scratching his head with a puzzled look on his face.....:-)
