Tank holds 21 US gallons, the low fuel switch should come on with 2-3
gallons in the tank. You might have a fuel sender issue. Not sure what you
mean by an auto kick-off: is it an electric pump?

Subject: #6143 is on the road!!

After 8 months of this and that and more this and more that.
6143 passed the province (state) safety last Friday and promptly flunked
emissions testing.

That's OK for now, because I get to register it for a year anyway while I
locate on old-time Carter AFB guru.
***Big celebration to follow***

We put a couple of hundred miles on it Saturday and Sunday with no hint of a
problem.
Even my VW fan switch and adapter worked out fine (fans come on at about the
full-open point of the thermostat and go off at about 12 degrees below that)

So my first question.
A fill, from the point at which the low-fuel switch was just sitting closed,
was about 12 US gal and I could barely keep the pump running (auto
kick-off).
Are those normal?

tks
